Robert's Story
I was supposed to graduate in 1986 and made a huge mistake and dropped out. I received my GED and joined the military in 1988. I was a part of Operation desert storm in 1990 to 1991 with 4/7 cavalry stioned in Budingen, Germany. I left Germany in 1991 and was stationed at Ft. Bliss, Tx. with 1/3 Armored cavalry regiment from 1991 to 1994. I was then stationed Back to Vilseck, Germany with 2/37 armor until 1996 where I was stationed at Ft. y career I received many commendations and awards for service and left the army as a staff sergeant. I stayed in Texas and was a police officer in Austin for a short while until I decided to do another tour overseas to support the army as a civilian contractor delivering fuel from Kuwait to well north of Baghdad, Iraq. I came back from Iraq and formed my own transportation company that delivers aggregates to concrete mixing plants around the Austin area.
I now reside in the little town of Hutto that is just northeast of Austin.
