Robert's Story
Enlisted in the Navy in 1972. Spent the next 4 years in San Diego and points west. Came back to Davenport in 1976 after my Dad died. Worked atn the Waste Water Treatment Plant down by Credit Island for the next two years. Changed jobs to a hydraulics dist. for a year, then decided needed a change from Iowa. Loaded up my bicycle and pedaled my way to Colorado. Ended up going on to California for a while, but ...Expand for more
moved back to western Colorado for a couple years. Then it was back to Ca. Worked for a high school dist. as a custodian and then a groundskeeper for 10 years. Moved up to north Idahofor about 5 years, then back to Ca. for another 10 years and working for the high schools again. Took early retirement, packed my bags and moved to heaven {Cody, Wy.}. Will stay here until Yellowstone blows up, then who knows.
