Robert's Story
Life
Returned to Detroit in 1973 from the Navy serving in Vietnam. After working for Chrysler as a skilled trades supervisor, I left Detroit again (this time for good) with a degree from night school at Wayne State in 1980. Heading south to Pensacola I returned to active duty in the Navy as an Aviation Officer. 008. The week after 9/11, I was recalled back to active duty in the Navy and retired in late 2003 as a Commander. My wife and I raised two wonderful daughters, although she often went it alone while I managed a second career in the Navy Reserves and returned to school for a MS degree. Thanks to our class officers for organizing the 30th reunion. Will I see the rest of you at the 50th? Bob
