Robert's Story
After Garfield, I went to LA trade tech and got a degree in drafting. I worked in that field till I got drafted in 1964. Went to Vietnam in 65-66. When I came back i went to CSULB and got my Engineering Degree. Worked 20 years for Mattel Toys desiging Hot Wheels and then worked another 20 designing cooking equipment for Wolf, Subzero, Maytag, Jenn Air etc. I have been retired for since 2003 and enjoying working on my classic cars and being in car clubs. PS I married Carmen Tolentino class of W62. We were dating in high school. She was the first female marcing band drum major and was very active in the music department.
I am saddend to say that my brother Rick Richard Rosas passed on Nov 6 2014 at age 65. he was from the class of 1967. He played bass for Neil Young and Joe Walsh and was well known in the music industry. google him on wikipedia.
