Thirty five years is a long time. Since the last day of graduation I have never been back to FDR. Went off to college at Temple University in Philadelphia and left Brooklyn behind. Started off in radio working as a newscaster, DJ, did some TV work, in various spots in the Northeast, but came back to NYC changing careers. few off Broadway shows part time. Found a brave new world with computers and am now an Automation Efficiency Specialist. Married 13 years ago and moved to the suburbs of NJ. Six years ago I transferred up to Saratoga, NY where the bagels are a little too doughy but life is more relaxed. Have two boys 11 and 7, and the worst word they ever heard was crap. They are wonderfully naive to what I learned on the streets of Brooklyn.
