This is a smattering of what my life has been since graduating from GHS. It turns out that apparently I have a gift for language. Japanese is my second language and I can murder French, Spanish and Italian. I have been fortunate enough to meet people from nearly every country on the planet. I spent nearly fifteen years in nuclear science and have been in almost every government research laboratory in the US. I lived in Japan for eighteen months and learned to speak by emersion. I believe that any person is capable of learning a new language and by doing so learns that the world is full people just like us. No matter where I have traveled, I have found that the conversations are the same, just sound different. Food from anywhere is enjoyable once the mental part is overcome. Turns out, I like raw fish.
