Robert's Story
After high school,I drove a truck for a short while, then joined the US Navy. I'm a combat veteran, and was on the rivers of Viet Nam in '68&'69. After returning to the USA, I married Tommi Doll, who went to Burgess HS. We have 4 kids, and 9 grandkids. One daughter and her 5 kids live here in Deming, and they keep us pretty busy. here as Tommi is unable to travel. After the Navy, I drove trucks for over 20 years, and traveled in 46 states, Canada, and Mexico. I then spent another 25 years mechanicing and welding on trucks and heavy equipment, until my body wouldn't allow me to anymore. I then retired , moved from Silver City to Deming, I enjoy shooting sports, and fishing, and my family.
