Robert's Story
After HS I split my college yrs. between Univ. Maryland and Principia College, IL graduating with a BFA (1978). I worked in the field of graphic design for about 14 yrs. then began teaching pt while taking additional Art Teacher certification classes. Began teaching art in Maryland public schools in 1996 where I'm still at today.
Never got married (have no children) as I spent many summers and winter breaks travelling. My longest overseas experiences were 6 months in Russia & Kazakstan (Alma-Aty) in 1992 wh...Expand for more
ere I taught art classes at a state-run museum school and sat in on a few English classes as a guest tutor.
Also taught art classes in Venezuela to poor children at a Bolivarian culture/community center in summer of 2007. In 2008 participated in a 5 week Fulbright scholarship program to Mexico along with 11 other art and language teachers from MD.
Currently own a townhouse in historic Greenbelt, MD - planned community built in the 1930s-1940s. Lots to do here in the Wash. DC & Baltimore areas. Love it.!!
