Robert's Story
After East Side, I worked for a couple of years before attending SIU for the next four. Draft got me & I ended up in Army, in Vietnam of course, as a medevac pilot. Got married, hitting 40 years now, & had 1st son, Chris. Left the Army after 5 years and moved to Louisiana & signed on with the State Police and the NG as a medevac pilot again...Expand for more
. Had second son, Brian. Retired from LA State Police & went to work full time with the NG drug program. Got sent to Desert Storm with the NG as a medevac pilot in 91. Left the drug unit in 94 & hired on with the Southeastern LA University PD (2 miles from the house). Finally hung it up in 06 and am now enjoying my family & 3 grand kids.
