Robert's Story
At the 30th reunion I told Kathy Krantz how I wanted to impress her beginning at Jordan Junior High and into North H.S.. The 3.9+GPA continued thru college which allowed me to enter medical school. This was all possible due to my infatuation with her and I let her know how she has helped thousands of people thru my career work. I think she was a bit blown away by what I said but it was the truth and I felt she should know it. I always considered her to be smarter and more sociable than me and I admired her greatly! thanked me but I meant to thank her for being herself when we were young. I was so introverted as a teen I would call her and just play the piano for her as I was too shy to speak to her. Thank goodness for reunions!
I continue to work part time in medicine with work with Veterans at an outpatient clinic in a rural setting 150 miles from Minneapolis. It is both challenging and rewarding dealing with veterans of all ages from 96 to 22. Events during North High provided me reasons to enter medical school and help others.
