Robert's Story
Graduated 1967 from the University of Maryland with a BA in American history. Member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. Won my wings from Laredo AFB, Texas in 1968. Served in Vietnam 1969 thru 1970. I served in Thailand in 1971 and 1972. Among other awards achieved 6 Air Medals for combat and the MSM (Meritorious Service Medal). the Air Force in the rank of Major. Was an EWO Operations Branch Chief upon retirement after twenty years of service. Following my first career, I taught High School and finally "gifted" students' for 28 years. I was selected Special Ed Teacher of the year in 2008, and Teacher of the Year in 2013. Now residing near Tampa, Florida. My proudest achievement is my son who obtained his Master's degree from the UCF in Computer Science, and was a National Merit Scholar.
