Robert's Story
School
Grade school at St. Michaels in Southfield, then to St. Bedes in Lathrup Village/Southfield were the quickest 9 years of my life. Good fun, but enough of the 'Sisters', so I moved onto BRHS in B'ham for the 'Brothers'
Managed to get out of BRHS after 4 fun years as a 'Warrior". Brother Miller - "Blood on the wall" chemistry drove my ambition toward sciences. Enough of the Brothers, so moved onto........ the Priests!
College
Headed to University of Notre Dame in Fall 1971 to watch the fighting Irish, Ended up so engaged that I st...Expand for more
ruck around until 1977, earning my M.S. Met my wife Leigh in the Dept. of Biology graduate school, where she rec'd her MS as well. A quick six years, dual degreed, good sports then, and made 3 bowl games; National Championship.
Finished college and headed to the work (real) world in the chemical industry, and still here 30 years later!
