Robert's Story

I have not kept this portion of Classmates up so i guess i should let everyone that is interested know what i have been up to for the last 35 years or so. I graduated HS and enlisted (I had a low draft number "8" and no deferment) in the ARMY and spent three years in active service and 3 years in the reserves. Went on to college at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC. Graduated in 79 and moved back to NYC and became a building manger and part time blding supt. Met my wife in 1981 and got married in 1988. I have 3 sons ages 20, 18 and 13. The older boys are in college, Hofstra dn Maryland respectively. I worked in NYC for a several Real estate Companies and in 1995 started a small construction Company. T...Expand for more
hat company transitioned into a Project Management consultancy with General Growth Properties as well as General Motors. I presently own a small residential Real Estate Company with Nancy (Sheehan) Achstatter in Oceanside called Home & Hearth Real Estate as well as Realty Construction Consultants, Inc. I am serving on the Oceanside Board of Education (11 years), Oceanside Community Service, Oceanside Kiwanis Club, Oceanside Education Foundation and the Oceanside American Legion Post 1236. I used to run long distance but lost that urge (kinda like Forrest Gump)and lift some weights, walk or use a elliptical trainer. Would like to hear from old friends and let them know how the old neighborhood is doing. BT
