Robert's Story

Life Dr.Robert Wright, C.E.O. of the Wright Business and Leadership Institute, is an internationally recognized author, speaker, and expert on human relations, group and organizational dynamics. A successful entrepreneur since the 1970s, Bob's innovative approach and dedication to excellence have led to the recognition of his businesses as tops in their field nationally. The employee assistance and managed mental health firm that he sold in 1994 was rated number one in the country by the Mercer Meidinger Medical Audit as well as Arthur Andersen. Bob's innovative approach to service, his demand for excellence and his belief in the potential of people has caused his businesses and clients to succeed, often beyond their wildest dreams. Bob has founded a wide range of Leadership Councils whose members have come from the United States and Europe, as well as several grass roots regional organizations focusing on social justice, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, human potential, and environmental issues. Dr. Wright is an author of books and numerous articles on people skills, purpose and personal development which have been translated into multiple languages and have been distributed around the world. He is particularly grateful for his relationship with Judith - his wife and business partner who co-directs the Wright Institute. In Judith's first book, The Soft Addiction Solution (formerly There Must Be More than This) she examines how Soft Addictions often get in the way of a more fulfilling life. In her second book, The One Decision, she shows readers what a fulfilling life really is. A media favorite, Judith has appeared on over 400 radio st...Expand for more
ations and 50 television shows, including 20/20, Oprah, the Today show, Good Morning America, and Fox & Friends. Hundreds of magazines and newspapers across the country feature her work. Bob's innovative programs have been instrumental in developing national leaders in a wide variety of fields from finance and economics to retirement and social reform. One of these programs that Bob and Judith have developed is couples training, successfully measured by a remarkably low divorce rate of less than four percent. Bob coaches top executives and management teams nationally for corporations in publishing, retail, manufacturing, service, and the not-for-profit sector. He is a master C-level coach who blends strategy, skill development and other elements of leadership and team building for the success of his individual coaching clients and the coaching clients of the Institute’s staff. The Wright Institute provides leadership training and coaching in executive leadership, parenting, couples, sales, management, entrepreneurship and most other areas of human potential. Bob and Judith are the founders and directors of the Wright Business Institute in Chicago where every day they inspire and teach others to live lives of MORE. Bob and Judith live, work and play near the Institute in Chicago and Prairie Spring Woods Training and Conference Center, a retreat, training and prairie restoration site near Elkhorn, Wisconsin on Lauderdale Lakes where individuals and groups can learn the skills and plan the changes that will help them have fulfilling lives and businesses of purpose and meaning. Keep an eye out for their upcoming book: Battling to Bliss: Make Love not War.
