Robert's Story
August after HS graduation I joined the Navy and trained as an aircraft mechanic. I was stationed in San Diego then the Naval Air Test Center in Maryland. In August 1975 I married Arlene Pfeiffer after a 2-year relationship. We had 3 children Angie, Danny and Mike, two of which were military brats. led right back in Plum. I still live here today. In December 2003 I lost my wife of 28 years from cancer. In 2005 after racking up 32 years of service I retired from Naval Reserves as a Chief Petty Officer. I was a crewmember in a cargo jet and served in Operation Enduring Freedom.
Lucky for me my kids and grandchildren all live close by. I enjoy riding my Harley, remolding projects and muscle cars.
