Robert's Story
Life
Graduated from GNYA in 1969. Went to Andrews University where I stayed for a BA (math, English and history) and a MA (in English History). Spent a year teaching English in Taiwan at the Taiwan Adventist Academy (not an easy year!). Went to NYU Law School which I graduated from in 1979. Have been working in professional publishing ever since first at Thomson/West (they have Westlaw and all those numbered books you see on the shelves on Law and Order). Currently work for the American Institute of CPA's (it is for CPA's what the AMA is for doctors or the ABA is for lawyers) where I run the publishing...Expand for more

I have been living in Manhattan pretty much all this time though I am now commuting back and forth to San Diego CA. I have a partner (yes, I'm gay) and a Maine Coon (that's a cat) named Sam. No kids, as you would expect.
I certainly wouldn't call myself a church-goer nowadays, though I periodically attend the Columbia Adventist Forum (which actually no longer meets at Columbia, but I'll spare you that detail). I"m in contact with a few folk from GNYA but would enjoy hearing from anyone who is interested in contacting me.
