Military ENLISTED IN THE US ARMY AIR CORPS DEC 2 1942, WNT THROUGH FLIGHT TRAINING AND GRADUATED AS A 2ND LIEUTENANT AND WENT TO ENGLAND IN THE EIGHTH AIRFORCE AS A FIGHTERPILOT FLYING P 51 MUSTANGS. FLEW 83 MISSIONS OVER GERMANY ...Expand for more
AND SHOT DOWN 4 ME 109'S AND 1 ME262(JET) AND ALSO DESTROYED 3 ME 210'S ON THE GROUND. OUT OF THE SERVICE DEC 1945 FINISHED COLLEGE AND WENT TO WORK AS A PILOT FOR NORTHWEST AIRLINES AND RETIRED IN 1989 AFTER 40 YEARS OF EMPLOYMENT
