Life In 83 I joined the Army. I was to spend my tour in Hawaii. Life was grand! But, Late in 84 i was called to the chaplins office. My Father, Oldest Brother and Mother were very sick. They asked if I wanted to go home,and I said yes. Every year for the next 8 yrs i buried a member of my family. Both parents one brother Aunts Uncles Grandparents,Cousins. But, the worst was still coming. In 97 My wife and i had a home on Cedar Creek Lake. I was on the tube with my 6 yr old daughter. It was suppose to be the last ride of the day. It turned out to be the last for my daughter ever, and the start of a long road to recovery for me. We road with our backs to the boat. Paige didnt like the water splashing up in her face, so I didnt see it coming till it was to late. It was a boat dock. I put myself between her and the dock to protect her.
