Robert's Story
Life
After Ganesha, I attended Mt. SAC to pursue a business degree and potentially a baseball career. While at Mt. SAC, I was "courted" by the Minnesota Twins but elected to continue in school and accepted a baseball scholarship to the University of Arizona. I pitched for the Wildcats for two years going 20-4 ultimately pitching and winning the Championship Game of the 1976 College World Series. My professional hopes vanished, though, when I tore a tendon in my pitching shoulder while on a baseball tour in Europe (...Expand for more
Holland, Italy and Germany). After that, I concentrated on my business degree and went into banking in 1978. Currently I am Executive Vice President/Credit Administration Manager for California Bank & Trust for the San Diego Division. For a "Californian", I am lucky to work only 15 minutes from my house. I have switched from baseball to golf and have turned into a fanatic. Renae and I were married on January 1, 1996 in Hawaii with both sets of parents attending. We have a Samoyed named Shakespeare. Life is good!
