After graduatimg in 1965, attended Rider College in Lawranceville for my Freshman year. Partied too much and left. Worked at Natvar in Carteret as a lab tech and joined the Naval Reserves. Partied hard and long till I realized that it was time to grow up. Went to Middlesex County College and finished my Sophmore year there and transfered to Fairleigh Dickenson University graduating in 1970 with a business degree. I married my college sweetheart and moved to South Plainfield. Worked at Rickel Home Center in Menlo Park as one of the managers for three years, but decided I preferred sales instead. Sold printing services for a small company in Plainfield for several years until landing a position with Ryder Truck Rental in New Brunswick. Loved leasing heavy equipment to major companies and found I was actually pretty good it at too. 6 years later, I was recruited by Penske Truck Leasing, where I held various management positions on the East Coast.
