Robert's Story
7/13/2014... 78 years old, married Janet Kinerk from Yoder, IN in 1962. Korea disabled vet, ran 1st satellite dealership in Elko NV for 24 years, degree in business admin, National Service. Mgr for Magnavox Video Systems, then for Philips High Fidelity. Committed Christian, very conservative, life member of NRA, Southern Nevada Militia, DAV, and SASS. Moved to Spring Creek NV from Fort Wayne in 1981. Reloader for 10-12 years (.45LC, .45acp, .357 mag, .38 spec, .40 S&W, .223REM, 308WIN, .762x39mm, and 9mm). Lost home and 47ac ranch (appraised near $500k) in housing bust. Raised and trained horses as a hobby. After foreclosure I moved to 1446 Chaparrel Drive in Mesquite, NV, located 75 miles NE of Las Vegas on I-15, . One son, two daughters (one adopted), 2 granddaughters, 1 great granddaughter with a 2nd on the way. Quite concerned about current state of the nation and direction we are headed. Staunch patriot. In relatively good health but poor physical condition (have recently lost 35 pounds, would like to lose 25 more). Earned Commercial Pilot license with instrument rating, but lost it due to prescribed medications. Amateur song writer with about 75 hymns and songs, somewhat proficient with piano / keyboard and organ, play for my church, River Valley Bible Church. Also "somewhat" proficient with computers. e acquired. Am a perfectionist, highly intelligent,handsome, innovative, and independent self starter. Also have an outsized ego problem. Thought about becoming a movie star but Clint Eastwood already had all the good roles. At least my grandkids say they love me.
I am a member of Modern Militia Movement, Oath Keepers, and Southern Nevada Militia. I spent 3-1/2 weeks camped at the Cliven Bundy Ranch in April and May, less than 20 miles from my home in Mesquite, in Battle Dress Uniform and armed with AR-15 rifle and .45acp Taurus Pistol plus full military gear. I arrived there for the standoff with BLM and for the victory march to retrieve the cattle the BLM stole, what there were that were still alive. I still go out there periodically to check on the families there as I am convinced the Feds will be back to finish the job. I will also be pushing to have an administrator who can coordinate and plan with all the militias in Nevada to ensure cooperation and communications among all these groups, of which there are around 1-1/2 dozen. If our government continues down the unconstitutional path they have chosen, I fear there will be a 2nd Revolutionary War, and thus I would offer my Life, my Fortune, and my Sacred Honor in defending and protecting the Constitution of these United States. The oath I took in entering the military has no limits, and it is valid until death. And I am ready to do what is necessary to save this beloved country.
