tate. Retired in 1999 then worked for the U.S. Department of State in Washington D.C. in contracting architectural/engineering and construction projects for U.S. embassies worldwide. Did some more interesting traveling. In 2004 transferred to the USDA, Natural Resources Conservation Service in Annapolis to work on contracting for conservation projects, then fully retired in 2009. Since then, have been enjoying the granddaughters and doing some sailing around the Annapolis area and the Chesapeake Bay. In the near future, hope to bring the grandchildren to Spain to meet all of their European aunts, uncles and cousins.
