Robert's Story
Life
I'm a retired journalist after about 35 years working on newspapers. My current favorite personal activity is playing music. I'm in a group called Grab Bag. I play guitar, mandolin, ukulele, harmonica and flute. I also sing. My wife and I enjoy traveling and visited friends in England and France recently. We enjoy reuniting with old friends in the Olympia, WA, area...Expand for more
each year and attending the Wintergrass music festival in Tacoma with them. I also have written poetry for years and am in the long, slow process now of culling and editing my past output. Gary Snyder is my favorite poet. If I had to describe my religion, I'd have to say Buddhist. I have two grown childen, a son and a daughter, and two grandsons who are our biggest joys.
