Life I have lived in Ewing, New Jersey (a suburb between Trenton and Princeton) since July, 1966. We moved to a senior community in Sun City Center, Florida in February, 2016. Sun City Center is 20 miles south of Tampa on Florida's west coast. I do not miss shoveling snow one tiny little bit. My wife Ottilie and I have had a wonderful life together. Like most of you, it hasn't been easy. Ottilie has been totally blind for the last 49 years. However, God, in His providence, has seen fit to use this and other issues to enrich our lives. Ottilie was a rehab teacher of the blind here in New Jersey and I'm a retired CPA (Yes, I'm still preparing tax returns for others). She retired 21 years ago to spend more time with her aging mother. Her mother passed away 13 years ago at the age of 94. Her mom lived with us for 39 years before she went home to the Lord. I retired 17 years ago. We have 2 children and 6 grandchildren. My son was a colonel in the Marine reserves and has been to Iraq and back. He retired from the Marines after 30 years of service in May, 2019. My daughter died from cancer 17 years ago. She had a very strong faith and we rest in the knowledge that she is now in the presence of the Lord. Please pray for her 3 boys. They have done well since her passing.
