Robert's Story
I received an AAS in Fire Science - probably not a surpirse if you remember me.
I was a volunteer with the Orland Park Fire Department for about 9 years. I spent two years in Chicago FD as a paramedic. Then I went to the Palatine FD for 27 years. I retired from there in 2004 as a Division Chief in Fire Prevention. I then found a job in the Darien Woodridge area as the Fire Prevention Director for their Fire District. I have also been the Executive Director of the Illinois Fire Inspectors Association since 2013.
I enjoy spending time at my church in Palatine where I work the sound board and/or video camera for the services. I also do volunteer work for Lutheran Church Charities.
I also enjoy playing with computers and watching drum and bugle competitions.
I have been married since 1990, and reside in Bloomingdale.
