Robert's Story

Life I finally joined this site. I am a school psychologist in the Seattle area, Kirkland. I have done this for 31 years now ever since finishing graduate school. I have also spent over 30 years in coaching basketball, baseball and girl's fastpitch softball. I actually coached three fastpitch teams to the Little League World Series. I have a son who is 30 and a daughter who is giving me a run for my money who 18! I am married to Cathey. I have probably 6-7 years left of working and then I think we may take up the RV thing. it right now as you never know if it is for you or not. Right now I am working on making a comeback in baseball as there is a league here for old guys! I am still in pretty good shape but the legs just may not be waht they used to be. My job is working with junior high age kids who have special needs. I also work with student who have behavior problems. No day is ever the same and I suppose that is why I still like it. I stopped coaching a couple years back but am thinking about starting back again this spring. Enough rambling for now, bye.

Hardest angle yet. Absolutely no assistance from Benji. But we persevered.
Day 5002 of the quarantine. Benji is making it a little easier on us making the bed. His positioning is improving. You have to love a well trained dog. It is after 10:30 am by the way. He is easing into the day.
I found this picture in the Naval archives of the ship I served on. The picture was taken in 1966 off the coast of Virginia. I was on it during that time. We carried Marines and equipment for amphibious invasions. I was 18
Margot Fresquez happy birthday from a friend.
Well, I would say he finally got the upper hand on us as we were unable to make the bed around him today. However, being the savvy people we are we put the pillows at the other end. Take that Benji !
We had become particularly adept at making the bed around Benji. The only steadfast rule is not to cover him up. He stumped us today. It goes in the left hand column ( win column ) for him today.
This is to prove to all you naysayers out there who don't believe Benji ever gets out of bed.
