Robert's Story
I joined the Marine Corps just before graduation and spent 19 years there, several in Southeast Asia. Afterwards I lived in El Paso, Southern New Mexico, Arizona, California, Montana and now Reno, Nevada. I've worked as an aircraft mechanic, forklift mechanic, boilermaker, sheet metal mechanic and now a security officer at one of the casinos here. Not ready to retire yet.
I enjoy classic cars and motorcycles so Reno is a good place for me as we have HOT AUGUST NIGHTS (classic cars) and STREET VIBRATIONS ( motorcycles) every year. I'll add some photos of ...Expand for more
some as soon as I can figure out how to do it.
I want to reconnect with old (?) classmates. Didn't have a girlfriend in school, my fault not theirs.
Still working as Security. Don't know when to quit, couldn't even if I wanted to.
I have 8 kids, 12 grandkids and about 8 great grandkids on last count. And they are scattered all over the U.S.. Maybe one of these days I get to go around and see them but I'll probably have great great grandkids by then. Who knows?
My free time is being spent looking up ancestors and its been enlightening and enjoyable.
