Thought I would drop a bio to catch up with some friends of the past...... Immediately after High School, I continued my education in the radiologic technology field and graduated from Sewickley Valley Hospital's, School of Radiologic Technology. After becoming an radiologic technologist, I knew that I was really wanting to specialize in ultrasound technology. After commencement, I continued my education at West Virginia University, School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, graduating with the equivalent of an Associates Degree. I then worked for Heritage Valley Health System as a staff sonographer and continued with school as I specialized in various areas of this imaging modality ie. ob/gyn, breast, peripheral vascular, and abdominal imaging. I then accepted a lead sonographer/vascular technologists position at Sewickley Valley hospital for about four years and worked for ob/gyn physicians on a part-time basis as well. I was blessed with a daughter, Elyse, and am very devoted to her. I did decide that marriage was not the best decision despite having the gift of a child. Elyse is now 8 and it is an absolute joy to be a part of her life! I completed my Health Arts Bachelors Degree through the University of St. Francis, Joliet, IL and then moved to Columbus, OH., in 2004 to take a full-time position as a clinical sales specialist with Siemens Medical Solutions in their ultrasound devision. I really love my job and travel very much in this position. Basically, I demo our fleet of ultraosound equipment to hospitals, physicians, and imaging centers in a competitive scope.
