Robert's Story
Well after graduation, I went in the U.S Army for over 10 years. I was assigned to many postings. the first one was combat engineer, and demloitions in stutguart west germany. I went to nuclear biological and chemical warfare school, there I became an advisor to the brigade commanders. I spent the rest of my postings in south Korea, germany again and Ft. Carson Colorado. I met my wife in Colorado Springs 25 years ago and we have three kids, Tanya John and Nic. Two are grads from college, and all are on thier own. ...Expand for more
I have been working for the Oregon department of Corrections for the last 17 years, in general maintenance and special construction projects. I have been assigned to the Womens prison, Osp on state street, Santiam correctional Inst on aumsville hwy, and I am now assigned as the paint shop foreman at OSCI on hwy 22. Yup you got it, I get paid to watch paint dry!
I have had a number of small business ventures and have a viable wood working business on the side. I am a lucky man to have a great family and good friends.
