Robert's Story

Graduated 1965 Joined the Navy in Sept 1965 while I was still 17 and got out the day before I turned 21, Oct 1,1968. There was about 10 from our class who went to boot camp in Great Lakes Ill together. I was stationed in Hawaii and Iwakkuni Japan with VP-4 a patrol outfit. We flew P3 Orions. out I did a four year apprenticeship for Tool and Die. Most of that time I worked as a Lead Moldmaker for Reddog Industries. I got married in 1970. Have a son and a daughter. A grandaughter and two more on the way. A year and a half ago my wife had a stroke so I retired at 62 to make it easier to take care of her. Take care and drop a line if you get a chance.
