Our 42+ mile backpack was scenic but a lot of stuff was hidden the first day (raining) open vistas of trees second day & stuff like this the third. Sand dunes at 6k on a mountain. Who knew?
More sand dunes.
It was much prettier in person. LOTS of trees everywhere you look!
Five mile +/- hike today in Tahuya State Forest. No views to speak of & mostly in trees but pretty w/ decent hills & LOTS of mosquitoes! Be really pretty in spring when all the native Rhodies are in bloom.
