Roberta's Story
Life
After moving to Tampa to live it up in the big city, I got married and had a daughter in 1980. Three years later my son came along to complete the family. Our lives passed by probably quite typically as the rest! Smart kids, same job with a defense contrator for 17 years, divorce after 19 years, you know the story. After divorce I started researching ancient civilizations. A few years later I met my future husband at a weekend seminar where we both were lecturing.
After a few years of selling real estate in Tampa, we decided to move to New Mexico. What a beautiful place on Mother Earth. If you ever have a chance to visit New Mexico, by all means do! I thought nothing could be better than a Florida sunset. Those New Me...Expand for more
xican sunsets are spectacular. "Purple mountains majesty" must have been seen here before the Star Spangled Banner was written.
We continued to research his book on the ancient mayans and their calendar while living and working in Albuquerque.
Both of our fathers became ill here in Florida, so we soon returned to live in between their locations. So here we are still working on the book and enjoying our precious lives.
Yes, I am a Nana. My grandson, Devon, lives in Atlanta. He's such a handsome and smart little guy. We are so blessed.
