Roberta's Story
Hi!
You may remember that I came to Edmonds High School half way through my high school years, transferring from University High School in Spokane, WA.
After high school I attended Washington State University from 1983-1986 majoring in Wildlife Biology then Art... I then went into the US Army National Guard where I ultimately spent 10 years, graduating in 1987 along the way as a Surgical Technician from the US Army Academy of Health Sciences at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. I worked as a civilian Surgical Technician in Kirkland, Washington until I married a US Army Special Forces Green Beret in 1988. My son Erik was born in 1991, my son Andrew was born in 1999. Two daughters, Alia and Hallee Grace, followed in 2004 and 2007, with my remarriage in 2003 after family tragedy which somehow everyone survived.
I hope you have been busy making lemonade out of any of life's lemons, also! :)
The past handful of years I have taught beginning Art and Music to kids I care for, including my own, whenever we weren't doing too much chasing of the next building construction project of my husband's line of work, d.b.a. Top Dog Diggs Construction, "Man's best friend in home building and all your farm and ranch needs."
