Roberta's Story
Not long after high school graduation, I worked in offices while I attended college for Interpreting for the Deaf and Elementary Education. In July 1994, I moved to Austin, TX mainly because I needed a change and I wanted to be in warmer weather and explore new things. I love the outdoors and swimming. Since 2000, I have owned my business as a pet sitter, caring for owners' pets...Expand for more
in their homes while they were out of town. Four years later, I became a dog trainer. Being a dog trainer has helped my pet sitting clients dogs that need help with basic obedience or want to learn trick training. In the future I would love to train service dogs and have a dog of my own that would be trained to be a therapy dog to cheer people up in nursing homes or hospitals.
