Roberta's Story
moved right after high school kicking and screaming, wasn't my idea, Move to the great big town of brookings or, sneeze and you would miss it. didn't know any one, went to work in a easter lily field, how excited are you now. I lost my father 4 months later to congestive heart failure. I was just 18yrs old and i still miss him. Like all young ladys i fell in love or what i thought at the time was, moved to southern calif, then broke that off and moved out to Mo and married my high school sweet heart. He will always have a special place in my heart. It didn't last long, big suprise, i moved back to Oregon when my daughter was 4 yrs old, went to work for Crescent city fisheries in the packing room. i married a local boy, no childern , only lasted 3 yrs. if and i worked for signet labs, we moved back to oregon, we moved in land for his education and my job, i went to work for diamond industries, and later after my sister was murdered we moved out to a small farm,we raised horses, worked with 4-h kids. My husband went out truck driving and i went to work for Med-Ply corp.for 5 yrs and then Boise Cascade for the next 11yrs. I had a few odd jobs inbetween, nothing to write home about. I am raising my grandson, he is 17yrs old now. Lloyd sr passed away on christmas day several yrs ago. I am still single and looking. i still live on a farm, i do in home care for my Mother who is now 84yrs old and has congestive heart failure, she has been given 2 to 5 yrs tops, it has been almost 3 yrs . i raise exotic sheep. ok nothing to exciting there. Not much more to add, If i think of something i will be back.
