Robin's Story

Life I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies in June 2003. I have been a happy homeowner for 3 years now, in Galt, California. My kids have been the light of my life. They Logan is 16 and Kaitlyn is 13 My step-daughters are twins,whom are 17. I have been married now for almost 17 years. We just bought our third home. I have been to Maui, which was one of my goals to acheive in the next 15 years, and it happened in 7. I have been to Pennsylvania to see a friend that I have missed seeing for over 23 years. I am the Office Manager / Senior Paralegal for a Family Law / Probate Law Firm. School I completed my Bachelor Degree at Humphreys College in Stockton, CA. It took me 4.5 years to complete. Night time classes were the best. I loved going to college, made a lot of good friends who have their head on straight and goals in life. Better life influences too. I encourage anyone who wants to go to college and think it is too late or they got married. Does not matter. You should do it anyways. Seeing the look on children's faces watchin...Expand for more
g me graduate was worth it. Sets the example for them, they can do anythng they want to do,they just have to go for it. College I started attending college in 1999 when my last child was about 9 months old. I have completed two degrees. AA in Legal Office Administration and soon a BS in Paralegal Studies. I did not live on campus. I loved the atmosphere and found that going to night school, I was able to meet some great life-long friends that are in the same vote as me. I lot of us at night, work during the day, have families to care for, so our study groups are a lot more interesting and a good support system. If I had to do all over I would have started to college a little sooner than I did, otherwise everything else I would want the same. How is or was your college experience? Workplace I am now doing what I love to do. I am able to others in their time of need. To help ease their hurt, help them to make decisions that will affect the rest of their life. Helping others in their time of need is wonderful. I enjoy my part in the legal profession.
