Life - scroll down for updates. BIG NEWS BELOW!
Briefly stated,I left Panama in July 1986 after attending PCC for 1 year. I've lived in Southern California ever since and love it...aside from traffic and the occasional smog and earthquake. I love to travel to different countries, and after working as an insurance underwriter at the same company for nearly 13 years, finally started a new job (in the same genre)in downtown Los Angeles in January 2004. I'm engaged to be married (for the FIRST time) in October 2004! Life is good...
...now April 2006 and working as an insurance manager at AIG in downtown LA. Still married - very happy...working on having kids...I'm not forty for another year so there's still several years to try! Bought a timeshare in Maui a couple of months ago. LOTS of time is spent at work, but the weekends are relaxing. I enjoy yoga; weekend getaways to Napa/Sonoma wine country, Vegas, Phoenix, San Diego; hiking, concerts, eating!
Update Jan 2008 - after 3 yrs working hard to make babies, ...Expand for more
my hubby & just learned we have to try the in-vitro path to pregnancy...wish us luck! Aside from that unexpected issue, life/work is fine - still underwriting in Los Angeles, but at Liberty Intl Underwriters (a division of Liberty Mutual). I have a great view of the Hollywood Sign & Griffith Observatory from my 27th floor window.
UPDATE 9/16/08: we were successful with our first in-vitro attempt in Feb 2008 and I delivered our triplet girls on 9/08/08 (c-section). We have been blessed with three healthy babies - two of which are identical twins. I gained about 40 lbs during the pregnancy and carried them to 32 weeks, 2 days. The girls were born at 3 lbs, 3 oz (each twin) and 2 lbs, 13 oz. They are all in the Neonatal ICU until they are each 5 lbs, but they are healthy, alert and beautiful! See photos.
COLLEGE
I lived in the "Zoo" section of University Village across from California State University at Fullerton. Talk about a party. Let's just say I finish college, but my GPA wasn't anything to be proud of!
