Robin's Story
Well, where to begin? Currently going through my second divorce. Was married 18 years the first time, and nearly 7 this time. I have got to find a new way to celebrate my life milestones! Was turning 40 the first time, now doing it again and turning 50! I have one son,19, who is the light of my life and often gives me really good advice! He lives with his dad so it is just me and my Siamese cat, Tori, who my son named after the pretty girl that was at the house when we picked her up 12 years ago! Yep, he's always been a ladies man! 4 and when the guys came out to start the game, he looked at me and said, "Mom, why did those boys come out with that ball and make those pretty girls stop dancing? Make those boys put that ball away so the pretty girls can come back and dance!"
Anyway, I'm on my own for the first time in my adult life and am loving it! Not that I plan on being alone forever but it is nice to not have to clear plans with anyone, and to decorate the way I want without having to wonder if the other person likes it! Although right now my living room has in it a recliner and entertainment center and a TV!
