Robin's Story
I've been bad, I've been all over the US, particularly Jackson Mississippi, and Ogden Utah. In may 2014 I got an official chill pill from the IDOC, and was released December 2015. Since my release, I've been very active in recovery groups, St.Paul's Baptist Church, and the ACLU. I was on a panel dealing with the human cost of incarceration, and I gave my testimony about the lack of defense to indigent clients at the Capitol Building for the passing of H0504 Public Defense Bill.
I am not on FB due to my legal liabilities, and I currently stay in Sober Housing and am working with Voc Rehab to complete an apprenticeship with an established tattoo art...Expand for more
ist. I will soon be working with the Dept.Of Labor to reacquire my CDL. My current hobby is studying criminal justice reform, and I am interested in developing my own non-profit organization to combat ricitivism in the justice system, as well as working with St.Paul's outreach ministries.
I've lived as an outsider for most of my life, and I'm excited to be learning how to be a more legitimate member of society. I'm proud to be a member of the black community in Boise, I'm finding ways to empower myself. The battle to keep my people out of cages and out of chains may never be over, it's time for me to make my contribution to our struggle, the right way!
