Robin's Story
The 70's
After graduating OCS in '72, I went to UCCC where I received an AAS in Business and an AA in Liberal Arts - Social Science and Humanities. I began work as a paraprofessional for the Rondout Valley School District, a job I held until 1990.
The 80's
1980 --Married my husband Lance and 29 years later we are still together -- amazing!
The 90's
Became a stay at home mom after my sons were born. My oldest Peter is now a sophomore at the University of Central Florida with a double major of Criminal Justice...Expand for more
and Social Work. My youngest, Maury, will graduate with honors from high school in June 2010. He also plans on attending UCF to major in Astrophysics.
In the mid-90's I enrolled part time at SUNY-Empire State College and worked toward a BS in Human Services but, unfortunately with only four course to go, I opted to go back to work in 2000.
2000 -- Present
Went back to work as a teaching assistant with the Onteora School District. I worked with kids who had ADD and ADHD.
2002 -- moved to Lake Mary, Florida
