Robin's Story
I sometimes preview children's books for Harper-Collins Publishing. Very fortunate I have been to be able to share them with 3 of my children. One in particular was from Jerry Spinelli. In it a little sister drops black jelly beans into a metallic garbage pail one at a time to annoy her brother in the room. My son Daniel and I were eating black jelly beans as I was reading and I felt as if Harper Collins was somehow spying on our lives! Jerry Spinelli's Maniac Mcgee had been an extensively used book in the local Fountain Hill Elementary with my 3 older children. Reading this latest book before the rest of the world;seeing the potential in his story; had me feeling like I had won a literature lottery.
I have dedicated my life to being an at home mom and sometimes it has really hurt me. Moments like that remind me why I became who I am.
The above program no longer exists, but I still choose to leave it here as a description of my reading enjoyment and testimony to my children to learn to love to read.

er until Stacy returns in December. This 4 months away is the hardest thing she has ever had to do and I try to snuggle and hug and kiss Angelina overly much to balance out the Mommy love she is missing. Aimee is 10 and trying to be a great young aunt to Lili. She was the only one to show up for sax lessons on Tuesday and she will be playing AMERICA over the PA SYSTEM on Friday morning. That means practice tonight!
Yough Cougar Band and Marching Colorguard; I will always miss you. We had wonderful uniforms and sounded great. A band in Philadelphia when my family was walking to the Zoo entrance happened to have a similar drum roll and I felt like a time warp hit me.
I always wanted to be a writer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were on base.
Summer of 2014 I am separated after 26 years of marriage; but I have written 4 paperbacks. The dystopian Warped Time and Punishment 2144AD series is mine and it came from rewriting a catharsis story. After 30 years I got onto a bike and rode 7 miles without falling off! I lost 60 pounds, and am having my whole life changing around me.
