Robin's Story
Life
Its been a long way since Sheepshead Bay. Graduated SUNY BUffalo; worked & lived in Manhattan for a few years; started my own business in the early 80's, sold it a few years later, went back to corporate AMerica. Lived in NYC and Brooklyn til 1989 when Knight Ridder sent me to Chicago, where I lived for 3 years (and loved it). Came back to the NY area and lived in NJ since my son was school age by then. rtly after I moved here and we have been together since 1995. My son Brad is now 20 and at school in Tallahassee, FL. I am a CFP (Certified Financial lPlanner) and a partner in a small successful financial planning busiiness. Ray & I bought a house in Ft Myers, FL on a whim 2 years ago and moved here last year. We are in a 55+ community and we love it--don't knock it til you see how happy we are. I sold my share of the business to my partners and am loving retirement. We live in adult summer camp and its better than the dream.
