Robin's Story
After High School, hmmm. I was married, worked full time, raised a family, went to college and became an R.N. I worked at University Community Hospital for 8 years as staff nurse, USF preceptor, and charge nurse as needed. Recently I am working in Inverness for a Nursing Home. I have 3 titles: Staff Development Coordinator, I educate the new hires and teach the annual education to staff. to the state. Infection Control, immunize staff and residents, test for TB. Don't get excited, I have a tiny office that is always filled with papers and can never seem to get them filed. I am also enrolled in a Risk Manager course with USF for licensure with the state.
If you would have asked me when I was a teenager if I wanted to be a nurse I would have said no way! I just wanted to see what great things others I knew have done. Thanks for visiting.
