Life
Let's see, since high school; I got married in 1982, adopted 5 kids; Art 23 Nikki 22, Micah 20, Xia 13, Riah 10. I've spent 25 years as a foster parent and taken in over 80 kids and loved them all. I've always been very active in my community, volunteer of the year in '02, Orange County's Most Inspirational Woman Award '05, I don't know...A few other awards and acknowledgements.
Since Feb of 2005 I've been fighting cancer. I mean really fighting for my life! Oh it's...Expand for more
nasty stuff and it just keeps coming back. I'm done with chemo for now and just waiting for my hair to grow back again. I've had several BIG surgeries and a few smaller ones, lots of chemo and I can't remember most of it. If I'd known it was going to be so hard on my brain I would have done more drugs in high school!!! LOL Ah, Just kidding. ???
I'm just really happy to be alive and living in So.CA. with my kids and hubby. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger!!
