Robin's Story
Life
Where shall I start? I moved out on my own after high school at 18 and never looked back, back then working 2-3 jobs at a time. Three different times I re-entered college...
Fast forward to 2008, I have a great job, a great boss, I am a college student again plugging away at one class at a time, and am an Ebay seller on the side since late 1999; it's more of a hobby, really. I'm single with two great children 10 years apart. The oldest is grown. I've been in my first home in Beaverton for 17 years and have completely remodeled it. I've been to the carribean 3 times, California, Hawaii, Texas, Florida, Las Vegas, Arizona, Idaho; and hope to add Canada and Alaska to the list. I'm embracing life and enjoying it's challenges.
Born and raised in the NW, I'm told I'm a 'mainstream' American--if that even exists. I'm not sure, but I have moderate views and am somewhat between an idealist and realist. However, current world events have altered my views. These days I'm becoming a far-to- the-left liberal. I'm a news-junkie ...Expand for more
and read the newspaper daily while taking a brisk walk on the treadmill and find myself switching to 620AM dial on the radio during the daily commute and I can't help but to be caught up in current events and more politically minded.
Over the years I have learned the greatest pleasures seem to come from the simplest things. I am continually learning what is most valuable; and true friendship, loving relationships and family is what matters most. I try to keep everything in perspective and to laugh at mistakes as I learn from them. I lead a healthy lifestyle with regular exercise, vitamins and herbs, and do things in moderation. I love children--especially my own, and am concerned about the environment and the future of the World, but I don't obsess over them. I am fit, can cook a little, am creative, I really enjoy gardening and puttering around home, R&R, and am fairly domestic. Though I like to travel, it's always good to come home. I like to do about everything and have varied interests. I am generally happy with life.
