Life
Hello, Iam a widow after being married for 4 years.My husband, Rob,an Italian born in New York,a wonderful man with many interests and graduated from Rosemead High School in 1975.We had much more in common than most people and were very compatible.I live in west central Missouri now,here is a photo of my parents. I moved in May 2008 and met Don McNutt and remarried in May 2009. My two daughters are single and living together in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. They love to travel and just got back from a New York and Washington D.C.trip.They live together one is a loan officers at a Mortgage Company. The other manages a Jenny Craig weight loss center...making enough for their vacations and shopping habits!
I kept in touch with many who went on the Heritage High School Thirty Something Cruise Summer of 2007. We also have a Heritage High website link for you to check out...and it is free to sign up. It's at 3w's class report dot org.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again in the near future let's plan another Reunion!
School
I first attended Central Baptist School in the 6th grade,in Mrs Brown's class. I remember being in class with students like Rick Templeton, Carol Faught, Debbie Fanzoi, Debbie Harrison,Debbie Bass, Karen Jason, Mark Person and Paul Hartman. Now how could I forget Marshall Vandruff!! He was my 6th grade sweetheart! Mrs.Vandruff was my Sunday School teacher. I think many of us girls were close to her.Inspite of the four sons they had we were all treated like her daughters!
Now in Jr.High I would car pool with Cindy Yeo and family. I always feared Cindy's sister Cathy!! I just could not figure out her personality!! lol (I read her bio and know she is a great person)!
Do you remember the slumber parites? At Cindy Yeo's and Carol Faught's house!
Joannette Paul and Amy Montgomery were always fun to be around;they had such charismatic personalities!!
I always enjoyed Mr.Minnix and most of us girls had secret crushes on him...Expand for more
! And Brent King (right Luana)?? OK I did too!
And then there was Mr Major, he had the most interesting life in India as a young son of Missionaries.High School brought great memories of Mrs. Wenzel's drilling on the Patriotic Program.I remember Mrs.Matthews P.E. class and how she made us work out. I would love to see her again.Mrs. Ocetnik was tough too! Do you remember how well Colleen Potter could throw a football? Remember ...Jackie Taylor, now she was always so fun to be around.I am still looking for her today! My favorite was Miss Sherman's English class! Richard Gainer and Tim Knight would make me laugh during tests! Does anyone know the whereabouts of Richard? I especially enjoyed Miss Finch's Speech class! She would ask us to do those impromptude speeches(made up) she was.....so imaginative! I remember Cathy Owens inviting Julie and I over to watch old movies and eat popcorn until late... My closest friends were Betty and Mona,and I'm still wondering about Mona. I spent a lot of time at the beach with Betty during the summer months. My other very close friend was and still is Rose-Marie Wagoner.We have had our dissagrements on planning this reunion. I only hope she will speak to me again..! Some may remember how in our senior yr. I was dating Andy Dieter....well he and his wife Melody attended my Dad's Church. We had a Chrisitan School from 1979 until 1989. It was named Central Christian School in ElMonte,Ca and I was on staff as the Kindergarden thru 3rd grade teacher. I taught 8th grade one yr...and it was a challenge dealing with Jr High students!
Do any of you remember Mark Beazley?I know that Karen Williams would get a kick out of knowing that I keep-in-touch with him and his wife Heidi after 33 years!.Yes, I guess the students and staff of Heritage High School will always remain a pleasant memory in my mind forever!
