I worked at a hospital in the Emergency Room for 7 years as a secretary, but got to assist w/small things & watch procedures when I wasn't busy. Everything is considered "Emergent" in the E.R. so I learned very quickly to multi-task and lots of times would be talking on one phone to request something and answering another one at the same time. e Department, I've been there now for 8 years. I met alot of police & firemen while working in the E.R. & they had asked me to apply w/their agency. I have three kids, I kinda inherited them, my sister got into some really bad stuff so I took the kids, I now have custody. My fiance and I are going to adopt so we all have the same last name when we get married. My fiance is a police officer and we have been together for four years now.
