Life Well, it's been 13 years since I graduated from High School. I swear I never thought time would fly by like this, nor could I ever imagine myself as a "grown up", yet here I am....all grown up! So are all of you, and if you guys are anything like me, you've CHANGED!! I think about the silliness of high school and the different groups of people and I wonder what everyone is up to. How many of you have gotten married, divorced, have had kiddos, are doctors, lawyers, housewives/husbands, have gone to Iraq and have fought for our country? How many of you have turned out completely DIFFERENT than you expected? (my hand is raised right now on that one!....me, me, me!!) Anyway, I hope that I hear from some of my old friends through this site. I'd even love to hear from some of my classmates that I may not have been close friends with, but that I went to school with and practically grew up with since middle school. You know how that is....you know who a person is...their name, what they look like, what they did in school, who they hung out with, that sort of thing. As adults, I think we should all get to know each other again. I mean, think about it.....all the friends we could have that we've spent so many years of school with and have grown apart. Thirteen years is a long time....it's time to re-connect!!! Okay, anyway...about me....well, my life has been one heck of a roller coaster, but the things I'm most proud of are: 1) my beautiful 6-year old daughter, Claudia Raven, 2) my many gardens that surround my cozy cottage-like house tucked in a huge canopy of pecan trees and oaks, and 3) my career running an import/export chemical company. My BA degree was in English, and although I am a certified English teacher in the state of Texas, what I do now for a living pays A LOT more than what a teacher makes...and as a single mother...well, that's pretty important.
