Rod's Story
Life
I have moved around a lot since I left Brooklyn. I went to Denver when I left NY and graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA and MBA. I ended up working in the telecommunications industry where I remain today. After time at AT&T Bell Labs, I ended up working at U S WEST where I spent time in Moscow Russia and Warsaw Poland designing networks. ss: the Internet. Today I am in Monroe, Louisiana where I am a VP of Marketing at a very large phone company with operations in 30 states.
I have been married for 15 years with 2 boys, ages 10 and 12. My wife is a nurse by trade but has opted to stay home and raise the boys. She teaches at the school so she can keep their hours.
We moved to Louisiana from Michigan where we still maintain a house (not by choice but because of the economy). We view Michigan as home and hope to return some day.
