Rod's Story
Does anyone remember when the bus driver got lost on his way to band day at K-State? I believe it was October, 1963. Regardless, I've been a K-State fan ever since. Earned three degrees from there, and I am now an assistant professor in the department of architectural engineering and construction science. eresting! Never a dull moment.
I have two sons, Lance and Jordan, with Lance and his wife, Sarah, making me a first-time grandfather on August 18, 2009. Jordan is engaged, also to a Sarah, but they have yet to set a date.
Other than Lance and Jordan (and their Sarahs), highlights of my life, so far, have been a 30 year career as an architect, and an almost 32 year career in the Naval Reserve. I retired from the Navy in 2000.
Life is good, very good.
